In 1946 after returning from the war he enrolled in
The Agricultural and Mechanical
of Texas

College Station
(later named Texas A & M University

He was able to transfer much of his credits from Lamar Junior College and also gained credits from his service in the
Army Air Corps

He graduated with honors on January 13, 1948 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

He was a registered Professional Engineer, worked for several firms including a long term position with General Dynamics in Fort Worth.  He also served on the Fort Worth Board of Mechanical Engineers.

His loyalty to the Aggies was unwavering.
